The this year will mark the 10th anniversary of its house raffle with a cash grand prize of $1 million, which can be used toward the purchase of a dream home.
Tickets are now on sale for this year's raffle. The center will sell 20,000 tickets for $150 each. An additional 1,000 tickets will be given away as prizes at an early bird drawing. The grand prize winner will receive $1 million if 17,500 tickets are sold.
Last year's grand prize winner was Gwendolyn Lawrence, of Los Angeles. The $25,000 second prize winner was La Verne resident Michael Tierno, and $10,000 third prize winner was Craig Campbell, of Palos Verdes Estates.
A special drawing will be held April 11 for buyers of two or more tickets purchased prior to the first early bird deadline April 6. Buyers who purchase tickets before the April 6 deadline will be eligible to win a first place cash prize of $75,000.
There will also be a drawing for buyers of two or more tickets. Multiple ticket holders can win an additional $50,000.
The grand prize drawing is scheduled for 5 p.m. May 16 at the Palos Verdes Art Center.
