Rain Delays Whale of a Day
Previously scheduled for March 1, the festival is now planned for Saturday, April 5.
Forecasted inclement weather has forced Rancho Palos Verdes officials to postpone the 30th annual Whale of a Day celebration.
The annual festival, which honor of the annual migration of the California gray whale, was scheduled for this Saturday.
However, according to an emailed alert from the city, Whale of a Day has been rescheduled to Saturday, April 5, "due to the forecast of heavy rain."
