3D Printing Comes to the Peninsula

You can take a class to learn about the new technology's capabilities.

A local computer technology center has brought 3D printers the peninsula.

PVNET has bought four CubeX Trio 3D printers and is also offering classes for both beginners and experienced designers, taught by new instructor and game artist Rene Saqui. Students can learn 3D modeling, sculpting and printing. There are also game, jewelry and art design courses.

“The world of 3D printing and design is one of the fastest growing technologies, rapidly evolving into the dominant design method for nearly all industries, including medicine, engineering, architecture, toy design, fashion and animation,” PVNET Director Ted Vegvari said in a statement.
