Palos Verdes Resident Graham Christie, PE tapped by HNTB Corporation

HNTB Corporation, a national infrastructure solutions firm with five offices in Southern California, is expanding its rail and transit practice to meet the increased demands of the region. Local Palos Verdes resident Graham Christie, PE, joins the firm as associate vice president, Southern California rail and transit leader, bringing more than two decades of project management, design and construction management experience working with various transportation agencies on rail and transit projects throughout Southern California. He is located in the firm’s downtown Los Angeles office.

In his most recent role as project manager at RailPros Inc., Christie managed the design, construction and safety management teams on several complex rail projects for Metrolink. Prior to that, he served as project manager on a wide range of rail and transit projects for many agencies, including the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, North County Transit District, California Department of Transportation, BNSF Railway, Southern California Regional Rail Authority and the ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach and San Diego.

Christie is a registered professional engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of California, Davis. He is an active member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association and the Construction Management Association of America and a published author in Engineering News-Record.
