Our Local Kiwanis Club in Action

Our local Kiwanis Club of Rolling Hills Estates along with 17 students from their Key Club and Kiwins Club of Peninsula High, and their Key Club of Palos Verdes High held a Food Bank Collection at the Ralph's Market on Crest Road, Rancho Palos Verdes. This event was the local area’s clubs’ participation in the Kiwanis National “One Day” Event.  The canned goods collected from generous customers, were delivered to the food bank at the Torrance Volunteer Center. The Center volunteers bag and delivers canned foods for needy children at Carson Elementary Schools on Fridays, so that the children have meals over the weekends when not in school.
