Local Equestrians Take Top Honors

The riders of Jan Ball Performance Horses took home top honors this past weekend at the Orange County Interscholastic Equestrian League.  Ellie Oldroyd, 15, of Peninsula High School, was named the Western Novice Medal Winner and Overall Novice Champion;  Erin Wolf, 9, of Dapplegray Elementary School, was the Western Limit Medal Winner and Overall Limit Reserve Champion; and Lucy Chapman, 12, of California Virtual Academy was the Western Limit Medal Reserve Champion and Overall Champion.  All three girls train under the guidance of Jan Ball, of Jan Ball Performance Horses in Rolling Hills Estates.
