Make your dog paws-itively happy by joining Cancer Support Community –Redondo Beach (CSC-RB) for the 2013 Fido & Friends walk to support cancer patients and their families. The fun-filled event takes place on Saturday, October 26 at Terranea Resort, 100 Terranea Way, Rancho Palos Verdes. On-site registration begins at 9 a.m., and the walk begins at 10a.m. The Walk will start at Pelican Cove Park, 31300 Palos Verdes Dr. South, Rancho Palos Verdes, and finish at Terranea Resort.
Bring your dog or just yourself! Ask your family and friends, schoolmates or coworkers to support you and vie for the fundraising Grand prize. Walk in honor of a person or dog you know affected by cancer. Carry their name on a sign if you wish, or just in your heart. You and your dog will receive a free T-shirt and a fabulous doggie goodie bag. Other festivities include doggie contests, vendor booths and beer garden.
Acquire $50.00 or more in pledges to participate. Proceeds will be directed to the free support group programs at CSC-RB. Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraisers.
