ELECTION TUESDAY JUNE 3, 2014 - INFORMATION FOR UNDECIDED VOTER

The upcoming Tuesday June 3 Statewide Direct Primary is nicknamed "Jungle Primary".  Some races include up to 18 candidates, but only the top two vote getters from in each race will be on the main ballot in November.

The League of Women Voters has a website, www.smartvoter.org which contains information submitted by the candidates to help you decide.

For the 33rd Congressional District Primary, where 18 candidates (16? plus 1 write-in hard to keep track) are vying to be our Representative in the U.S. House of Representatives, there is one forum that I know of that you can view online.  It took place at the University Synagogue in Brentwood on April 27 and can be found on www.unisyn.org.  Click "watch services online" then click "view archived services" then select "Candidate Forum 4/27/14".  It is two hours long and includes most of the candidates.

There is a shorter youtube video "Congressional Candidate Forum District 33"  which only includes three candidates.

We are so fortunate to live in the United States and have elections, so please select your candidates carefully and take time to vote on Tuesday June 3.  Your country is counting on YOU!
