Quick Hits: Candidate Debate, Diamond Jubilee

Here are some things to look forward to today in Palos Verdes.

Happy Wednesday! Here are five things Palos Verdes residents should know today:

  1. Candidates for Rancho Palos Verdes City Council will debate the issues at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Fred Hesse Community Park. The League of Women Voters is hosting this week's debate.
  2. The city of Palos Verdes Estates will host a kickoff meeting for its 75th Diamond Jubilee anniversary of the city's founding. The meeting will be at Montemalaga Elementary School at 1121 Via Nogales in Palos Verdes Estates at 6 p.m. today. More information is available on the events calendar.
  3. Rebecca Glenn of the Book Frog blogged about this Tuesday's new book releases. Do you plan to read any of these?
