PV's Own Sidewalk Cafe

The St. Honore Bistro Caffe brings a special charm to the Peninsula.

The St. Honore Bistro Caffe is the closest thing to a French sidewalk cafe and creperie on the Peninsula.

Some advantages to not having to make a trip to Paris for the real thing: You don't have to figure out Euros-to-dollars when you pay, it rarely rains in Lunada Bay, and the servers are never rude to Americans (sorry, Paris).

St. Honore's can get crowded on weekends and has very little indoor seating. But if the many outdoor tables are filled, there are plenty of options across the sidewalk.

The food offerings includes omelettes, soups, wraps, and crepes, all reasonably priced—starting with the $3 crepe smeared with nutella. Smoothies and coffee drinks put certain chains to shame. St. Honore's is, in short, the perfect place to stop for almost any kind of morning or afternoon refreshment.

St. Honore Bistro Caffe, 2201 Palos Verdes Drive West. 310-544-3100. Opens 6 a.m. Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. Saturday-Sunday, and closes at 6 p.m. Most food items priced between $4.50 and $9.50.
